'Sweet Hereafter' director Atom Egoyan's new film "Where the Truth Lies" is expected to earn an American NC-17 rating because of a menage à trois sex scene with Kevin Bacon, Colin Firth and Rachel Blanchard.
This will severely limit box office numbers.
This means no one 17 years of age or under in the U.S. will be allowed admission, even if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
